This easy piano hymn arrangement of the church hymn “Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross” will make any early intermediate pianist sound like a pro! On the first verse the right hand carries a straight-forward melody while the left hand plays block chords. On the second verse, the right hand moves an octave higher and will play more notes in addition to the melodic line (intervals of sixths and thirds). Meanwhile, the left hand plays broken chords on the second verse, by following the same harmonic structure as it did on the first verse.
