For the Beauty of the Earth - Advanced Piano Sheet Music
Share
This advanced piano arrangement of the church hymn “For the Beauty of the Earth” is divided into three main sections. At first, the texture is very traditional, almost identical to the hymnal, plus the occasional suspension to spice up the harmony. Then, in the second section of this arrangement, the meter changes from 4/4 to 12/8, the right plays an ostinato in the high register while the left hand plays the melody and harmony in the middle register. Finally, on the last verse, the two hands provide a full texture via octaves and blocked chords. Towards the end, this arrangement will echo the ostinato heard previously. This hymn is especially suitable during the Thanksgiving season, but of course you can enjoy it any other time of the year :)
